Academic Awards

IU Columbus values the successes of our students, faculty, staff, and community partners. Each year, we recognize academic excellence, achievements in research, and exceptional service to the campus and community.

Academic Misconduct

Academic misconduct may involve human, hard-copy, or electronic resources including cheating, fabrication, plagiarism, interference, violation of course rules, and the facilitation of academic dishonesty.

Annual Review

Division Heads and Program Directors complete administrative review form each year to note their accomplishments and set goals for the coming year.

Faculty Governance

Faculty members at IU Columbus are represented on and governed by the Faculty Senate and constitution, bylaws, and other policies it ratifies.

The Faculty Handbook contains information about final exams, grading policies, student performance, and more. Please familiarize yourself with these important policies and procedures.

Offers support to all full-time faculty, and builds upon the expertise and scholarship of faculty from all ranks and disciplines.

The Student Engagement Roster (SER) communicates valuable feedback to students and academic support staff about attendance, participation, and other insights for strengthening student academic performance.

Travel Fund Request

IU Columbus offers support for academic conferences or symposia for faculty and professional staff.

Offices to assist you

Center for Teaching and Learning

At the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) at IU Columbus, our mission is to support learners of all ages and those who teach them. CTL staff are available to support and work with P-20 educators throughout the region.

Academic Resource Center

ARC provides math, science, writing, and other academic assistance. Our knowledgeable tutors can provide assistance for nearly any class offered at IU Columbus.

Office of Institutional Analytics

Effective June 1, 2019 the staff of the IU Columbus Office of Institutional Analytics and Effectiveness was moved to IU Indianapolis's Office of Institutional Research and Decision Support.
