A total of 18 credit hours or six classes is required to earn a psychology minor at IU Columbus.
No grade below a C- is acceptable for minor courses. A minimum grade point average of 2.0 in minor courses is necessary.
A minimum of 6 credit hours in the minor subject must be completed at IU Columbus.
Introductory psychology (3 cr)
Core psychology classes (at least 9 cr)
Choose three of the courses below, totaling at least nine credit hours:

You may apply psychology credits for classes taken at other institutions toward this minor, but must earn a minimum of six credit hours toward the total required at IU Columbus. Credits from correspondence courses are not accepted for this minor.
The first step toward adding a Psychology minor is to speak with your advisor. They can provide the best guidance regarding how it will fit with your current academic program. Your advisor will then submit an application to the registrar's office on your behalf.
