The Sociology Department offers students the opportunity to take a series of courses in sociology which results in the completion of a minor in sociology.
Requirements for a minor in sociology: 15 credit hours of sociology coursework, with a grade of C (2.0) or better. R100 – Introduction to Sociology AND 12 additional credit hours* of sociology courses *6 of those hours at the 200-400 level.
The first step toward adding a Sociology minor is to speak with your advisor. They can provide the best guidance regarding how it will fit with your current academic program. Your advisor will then submit an application to the registrar's office on your behalf.
